Stenaelurillus specimens were found on dry leaf litter intermixed with grass patches in a tropical evergreen forest of Nilgiri Hills, India. These were found in bright sunlight, with some shade of the tree canopy. The presented male individual came to notice quickly after looking at the shiny blue iridescent scales on his forehead and a crescent shape mark.
