Diese zart rosa bis gelb gefärbte epiphytische Orchidee hat langgestreckte Blätter. Sie wächst in einem kleinen Bergregenwald in Ruanda, dem Gishwati Forest. Es handelt sich hierbei wahrscheinlich um einen Lokalendemiten, das heißt um eine Art, die weltweit nur diesem kleinen, begrenzten Gebiet vorkommt. Am Blütenstand werden zahlreiche Einzelblüten gebildet, die fast das ganze Jahr über blühen.

The one and only
This delicate pink and yellow coloured epiphytic orchid has strung-out leaves and grows in the small "Gishwati" mountain rain forest in Rwanda. Most probably this is a "local endemic", which means that it exists only in this very small region and no where else in this world. The inflorescence produces many single flowers throughout the year.
