Würziger Strauch mit hübschen Blüten
Dieser kleine Strauch wurde an einem trockenen Hang in den Anden Nordperus gefunden. Er ist stark aromatisch mit einem an Oregano erinnernden Duft, und es ist gut möglich, dass er ebenfalls als Gewürz verwendet werden kann. Doch nicht nur für die Nase, auch für das Auge hat er einiges zu bieten: die weißen Blüten sind zart violett überlaufen und mit dunkelvioletten "Saftmalen" gesprenkelt.

Spicy Shrub with pretty Flowers
This small shrub was found on a dry slope in the Andes of northern Peru. It has a strong aromatic smell resembling that of Oregano, and it is very possible that it can also be used as a condiment. But not only the nose is flattered by this plant: the flowers have a gentle violet hue and are dotted with lilac nectar guides.
